Following six children as they learn amazing ways to beat their stammers.

Following six children as they learn amazing ways to beat their stammers by attending two weeks of intensive speech therapy at the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children.

This is the story of a group of six children, hailing from all over the United Kingdom, who have one thing in common, they all suffer from a stammer. Living with a stammer can be a very lonely and frustrating thing and stammerers often run into trouble with bullies at school due to their problems with speech. However, these six children now have something else in common   they're all trying to do something to combat their stammers by attending two weeks of intensive speech therapy in London at the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children. 

Palin put his name to this leading speech therapy centre back in 1993, motivated by his father's own struggle with a pronounced stammer and now inspired by the fact that modern therapy is effective enough to really make a difference to a young stammerer's life. We'll follow the story of Aidan, Oscar, Isa, Lili, Tom and Charlotte as they learn amazing ways to beat their stammers, practice their fluency in the busy marketplaces of London, receive a surprise visit from Michael Palin himself, and most importantly get to know each other breaking down that isolation that a stammerer can often feel.
