Joe Crowley meets Diana Christie and her partner Rowley Belcher who fell in love with an incredible 20th-century Roman Catholic Church in Guildford, Surrey. They were so eager to take on the church that they bought it without planning permission.

With lots of renovation and planning questions on their mind we take them to meet a man who realised his dream and turned a forgotten church into a quirky, modern pad. 

Plus we find out how a couple in Wales concerned by the lack of housing and intent on preserving traditional agricultural buildings have come up with a radical solution. And we join one of the UK's empty property officers on her crusade to bring some of Derbyshire's unloved homes back to life.
