Fiona Talkington pays tribute to the British composer David Bedford, who died on 1st October with part of his 1975 epic 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. Plus clarinet music by Berio, part of Chris Watson's Mexican soundscape 'El Tren Fantasma', Susanna Wallumrød singing Purcell, and Portuguese guitarist Custódio Castelo.

Live music and the arts: broadcasts more live music than any other radio network. Classical music is its core. Genres include world and new music, jazz, speech and drama.
