One step forward onto the escalator for guide dogs, but two back as Kindle loses speech.

Guide dogs take one step forward and will be allowed to use London Underground escalators, but one step back for users of the latest Amazon Kindle - no text to speech facility.

What will the decision by Amazon not to put text to speech on their latest Kindle reader mean for users? Peter White talks to Ian Macrae, Editor of Disability Now and Melanie Brunson from the American Council of the Blind about accessible reading for visually impaired people .
Guide dogs are to be allowed onto London Underground escalators, after undergoing appropriate training by GDBA. What's it been like in the past taking your dog on the Underground?
