The Midnight Beast are the massively talented British trio behind a number of huge musical comedy hits. They lampoon targets as diverse as Ke$ha, boy bands and Ibiza bound clubbers. Their YouTube channel has had over 40 million upload views, their tunes are triple platinum and they play sold out shows nationwide. In this one-off Radio 1 show, the boys dive head first into the brave new world of internet funniness and discover what it takes to win oh-so-epically.

This amusingly absurd tale reveals the funny stars in all their glory, with exclusive interviews, clips and way more. Written and performed especially for BBC Radio 1, this is the story of internet comedy, told in the form of a genre redefining adventure quest. The journey of The Midnight Beast begins when DJ Greg James accidentally uploads himself to the internet. The boys take the trip of a lifetime to the beating heart of internet comedy and recruit the world's most successful online funny people to free Greg. Will they succeed?  Will they meet stars like Bo Burnham, Shane Dawson, Epic Meal Time and Ray William Johnson along the way? Will there even be a super happy ending?
