Jake Humphrey introduces coverage of the Japanese Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel cruised to victory at Suzuka in 2010, and admitted afterwards that the circuit's high speed corners were ideally suited to the strengths of his Red Bull car. Great Britain's Lewis Hamilton will be hoping for better luck after his travails in Japan last year. After qualifying, he was demoted to eighth position on the grid but battled back to fourth until he lost third gear with just 10 laps remaining and was overtaken by his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button.
