Penny meets comedian and musician Harry Shearer, and best selling author Jane Fallon.

Penny meets American comedian, actor, writer, musician and voice of Mr Burns in The Simpsons Harry Shearer, and best-selling author Jane Fallon, who wrote Getting Rid of Matthew.

Penny meets the author Jane Fallon. Jane is the multi-award-winning producer behind such TV shows as This Life, and Teachers. Her previous novels, Getting Rid of Matthew, I Got You Back and Foursome were all top ten bestsellers. She discusses her fourth novel, The Ugly Sister, in which she explores the relationship between two sisters and asks whether beauty is a curse or a blessing? And what happens when your sister is better looking than you? 

American comedian, actor, writer, musician, director and voice of Mr Burns in The Simpsons Harry Shearer, and his wife jazz chaunteuse Judith Owen tell us about their live shows at which she sings and Harry plays the double bass.

Actors Andrew Knott and Nick Blood discuss their starring roles as John Lennon and Stuart Sutcliffe; the fifth Beatle in the new London play Backbeat which tells the intense story of the early days of the Beatles and the love story which surrounded their fledgling success and divided them.
