Penny Gore launches today's programme with a performance of one of Aaron Copland's popular American ballets - featured over on Radio 4 in today's Page to Performance programme (1.30-2pm).

Then she turns the spotlight on a succession of soloists performing with the BBC's orchestras - including new CDs of British concertante music for strings, and two Radio 3 New Generation Artists in concert with the BBC Philharmonic last week at their new home, MediaCity in Salford.
