Jake Humphrey introduces live coverage of the Singapore Grand Prix. The only night race on the calendar, the Marina Bay Street Circuit provides a spectacular venue for the 14th round of the season. 

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso has spent much of the year in the shadow of Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, but the talented Spaniard has a good record in Singapore, winning two of the three previous races there. 

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton has endured a difficult year, but he is the only other driver to have won the Singapore Grand Prix - a repeat of his 2009 victory would be the perfect response to his critics.
