Tourists have traditionally visited for the landscape, the history or the culture but what about our food? Visitscotland is moving towards this with a new book encouraging tourist to sample the food here as well as try out our adventure activities...

Gourmet Glasgow - some of Glasgow's top chefs are collaborating on "Dinearound", a month-long scheme to encourage people to eat out and to get across the message that Glasgow's food scene has come a long way from the image of the deep fried mars bar.
