Bruce Morton finds out what's Funny in Falkirk as the comedy festival gears up for its all-important second year.

Using the format of Saturday Night Live a new collaborative comedy night comes to Scotland's capital called "Alchemy EH1". Jemma Rodgers, Executive Producer for Kudos Brown Eyed Boy Scotland, shares her ambitious aims to nurture new comedy writing and performing talent that could be rolled out beyond Scottish borders to London, Europe and the world...

What's so Funny in Falkirk? Comedian Paul Sneddon, aka "Vladimir McTavish" joins the Comedy Café to tell Bruce what's on offer as Funny in Falkirk comedy festival prepares for its all important second year.

And - they say laughter's the best medicine so there's good news for long-term young patients at Kilmarnock's Crosshouse Hospital. Universal Comedy's Linda Allan and comedian and tutor Viv Gee unveil their aims for a pilot project in joke telling, stand-up and scriptwriting to help these sick kids combat ill health.
