Mike Harding presents an hour of the best in folk, roots and acoustic music, including details of how to enter the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and an interview with upcoming Derby-based singer Lucy Ward.

Lucy was a finalist in the 2009 Young Folk Award and has just released her debut album, Adelphi Has to Fly. Produced by Stu Hanna of Megson, the record features a range of traditional songs and compositions, all delivered in a bold yet tender style that has been winning Lucy the attention of folk fans up and down the country.

Any budding young musicians hoping to follow in Lucy's footsteps can find out on tonight's show how to enter the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award.
