Today's Lunchtime concert comes from a series of Hungarian recitals recorded in the Cosmo Rodewald Hall at the University of Manchester. Marking the 2011bicentenary of Liszt's birth, the recitals featured works by Bartok, Kodaly, Dohnanyi and Kurtag as well as Liszt, and include performances by the Danel Quartet, piano duo Artur Pizzaro & Vita Panomariovaite, the chamber ensemble CHROMA and soprano Susan Bullock with pianist Malcolm Martineau.
