Amber realises that blood is thicker than water. Nicole uses Eileen to get closer to Nick.

Amber realises that blood is thicker than water, but will she learn to stand up for herself? Nicole uses Eileen in an attempt to get closer to Nick.

Fraser is in everybody's bad books following the revelation that he was behind the dumping of the industrial waste.  Still angry that he lied to her, but wanting to give him a second chance, Amber asks him to apologise to Malcolm and Liz.  A reluctant Fraser agrees. Meanwhile, Joanne's anxious that if anybody other than Amber buys Ruth's flat, she's out on her ear.  She pleads with Malcolm to convince Amber that a buy-to-let (to Joanne) is a good idea.  Malcolm feels torn, but agrees to help his granddaughter. Amber and Fraser arrive at Malcolm and Liz's but Fraser gets a frosty reception and his apology falls on deaf ears. Unwilling to grovel, an arrogant Fraser gives them a rude retort, leaving Amber upset and angry at his behaviour. Putting Fraser behind her, Amber launches her 'Sounds on Saturday' event at Hola with the help of DJ Conor.  Cringing at the loud music, Liz and Malcolm pop by to invite her for lunch. Malcolm takes the opportunity to motivate her on the buy-to-let of Ruth's flat, stating it would be a great investment for her.  Trusting Malcolm's judgement, she agrees and kisses him goodbye, leaving Malcolm feeling uneasy at his duplicity. 

Returning from an errand, Amber finds Joanne has ingratiated herself on Conor and is running the show at Hola. Keen to get to the bottom of Amber's plans for the flat, Joanne almost forces Amber back out the door to meet Malcolm and Liz. At lunch, Malcolm quickly steers the conversation round to the flat and Amber divulges she's put in an offer.  Liz expresses delight that Joanne and Romeo's rental situation is secured which slightly baffles Amber.  As the threesome return to Hola, Joanne is overjoyed at the flat sale news and a puzzled Amber looks on as Joanne hugs Malcolm rather than her. Joanne then states her claim to Amber to continue renting the flat at the existing (fictitious) rent of £50 per week, before dashing off, leaving a very wary Amber. Amber's suspicions are further confirmed when Gabriel warns her about Joanne's sob stories and ability to manipulate.  Amber's raging.  She confronts Malcolm and Liz about Joanne's rent scam.  Uneasy, Malcolm acts the innocent but is left feeling guilty at manipulating the situation. Later, in the pub, Amber's on the verge of giving Fraser a second chance when Liz and Malcolm enter.  Wanting to avoid confrontation, they immediately turn to leave.  Amber has a bone to pick with them and follows them out. As Liz bundles Fraser's things into a bin liner she issues an ultimatum - it's him or us! Amber in turn questions their loyalty to her and the fact that Malcolm supported Joanne's lie. In a final gesture of defiance, Amber grabs a waiting Fraser and snogs him passionately. She's made her decision. Now on the warpath, Amber takes Fraser to the Oyster to confront Joanne. Delighting in taking Jo down a peg or two, Amber gives her a week's notice to clear out the flat. Stunned faces all round, not least of all Fraser who's now on his final 'Amber' warning.

When Nicole witnesses Nick asking Eileen to be his campaign manager, she hatches a plot to get back into Nick's orbit. Nicole suggests to Eileen that she could set up a social networking site to attract younger voters, and most importantly give Eileen all the credit. Eileen buys the idea and passes it with a delighted Nick (who's oblivious to Nicole's involvement).  Nicole is in her element but Nick is shocked when he discovers the truth. Nick then has to spend an uncomfortable hour divulging personal details to her for the website.  Deluded and misreading the situation, Nicole believes Nick is passing her coded love messages in his responses.  Later with Michael, Nick tries to express his concerns about Nicole's behaviour. Oblivious that Nick's talking about his daughter, Michael reassures him that as long as he has not led her on, all will be well. Nick is left feeling guilty, knowing that he compromised himself when Nicole kissed him.

Big Bob returns from the Oban music festival loved up and happy to tell anyone he meets about his new love Tatiana. Scarlett's delighted for her brother but the rest of the community, spurred on by Iona, pick holes in Bob's story and tease him. As a contrast to loved up Bob, Jimmy is down in the dumps. He accepts a cash job from Fraser but first Fraser cons him out of the agreed rate and then pays him with a counterfeit note. When Robbie, Gabriel and Deek wind Big Bob up in the pub, it really grates on Jimmy. And when Bob pretends that Tatiana is on the phone when really it's Molly, Jimmy gets madder yet. Bob can't understand why no one believes him and looks to Jimmy for a sympathetic ear but instead gets a barrage of abuse. Poor Bob.
