Rubber - 0ur DVD Pick of the Week is the truly bizarre story of Robert, an inanimate tire that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life! As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to prey on small desert creatures and various discarded objects, his attention soon turns to humans; leaving a swath of destruction across the desert landscape, Robert becomes a chaotic force to be reckoned with, and truly a movie villain for the ages. Directed by legendary electro musician Quentin Dupieux (Steak, Nonfilm), RUBBER is smart, funny and wholly original. 

The Last Pictue Show - Director's Cut - Jonathan Melville discusses Peter Bogdanovich's 70's stylish classic THE LAST PICTURE SHOW which has been digitally restored and will be back in cinemas from 15 April 2011. Based on acclaimed writer Larry McMurtry's novel and featuring a talent-laden cast,led by Jeff Bridges, Cybill Shepherd and Timothy Bottoms, the film is a study of life in a small Texas town during the 1950s, and how characters' lives intertwine.
