Series following environmental health officers in Edinburgh. Council workers Freddy Patterson and Jim Byrne clean out a tenant who's accumulated four tonnes of rubbish in his flat.

In the heart of the tourist centre, council workers Freddy Patterson and Jim Byrne are cleaning out a tenant who has accumulated four tonnes of rubbish in his flat. On the streets, environmental warden Hazel Holt is taking no prisoners and issuing smokers who drop their butts with a £50 fine. The man with the least enviable job in the city - mortuary technician George Forsyth - is picking up a badly decomposed body.
