The second part of DJ Target's International 1Xtra trip to Mexico, exploring the musical and cultural backdrop of Central America's greatest and arguably most troubled superpower.

Target has been booked to DJ in Mexico City. He’s got one week to get to know the city, its people and the music first.

Target unearths the Mexican dubstep scene (yes it exists!) and plays some UK music from Chase and Status, Donaeo, Skepta and JME to young producers from Radio Ibero

He guests on the legendary hip hop radio show Scratchamama and picks up some underground Mexican hip hop.

Then its time to hit the Mexican pyramids at Teotihuacan and experience a typical Mexican night out at the Lucha Libre (wrestling). 

And hear how Target's first ever DJ set in Latin America goes down with the locals.
