Ronnie's paranoia reaches new heights. And will Shirley's belief in Phil be shattered?

Ronnie's paranoia reaches new heights as she resolves to drive Glenda away before she discovers the truth about James. Meanwhile, Ian has a touching gesture for Jane.

Shirley’s unsettled and wonders if Phil has a guilty conscience when he compliments her cooking, offers money for her hen do and gives her an expensive engagement ring the day before their wedding. Jay realises something’s troubling Ben and tells him to stop avoiding whatever it is. Ben confronts his dad about Glenda. Phil tells him the affair’s over and insists Ben will break Shirley’s heart if he tells her. When Jay makes a joke about Phil and Glenda, Shirley overreacts and throws him out. Defending Jay, Ben suggests Shirley talk to Phil. Shirley heads to R&R and overhears Phil and Glenda talking about their affair.  When Glenda insists she feels sorry for Shirley, Shirley bursts in, and tells her not to.

Jane’s irritated when Ian comments on her menu choices for the Vic and then uses her pre-prepared garnishes. Ian listens as Tanya and Jane talk about Tanya’s wedding, and discuss how Ian takes Jane for granted. Later, In front of everyone in the Vic, Ian presents Jane with a cake asking her renew their wedding vows. Happy, Jane says yes. 

Ronnie starts to wonder if Glenda’s worked out her secret when she comments that all babies look the same and wants to discuss Ronnie’s odd behaviour in the church, then tells Ronnie lies have a way of being found out. Ronnie enlists Phil’s help – she thinks it’s time her mum left London for good. Ronnie lures Glenda to R&R and leaves her to Phil. Phil makes it clear to Glenda no-one wants her and tells her to leave. 

Dot’s annoyed when Edward brings Jim fish and chips instead of the gammon she’d ordered from community meals. Dot discovers Edward’s been asked to stop volunteering – he was spending too much time playing dominoes with Jim.
