Steve's back off his holidays and today is joined by the BBC's LA correspondent Peter Bowes, who has all the latest from last night's star-studded Oscars ceremony including British actor Colin Firth. Comedian Patrick Kielty stops in to launch a very special competition - The BBC New Comedy Award 2011 - our search for the stand up stars of the future. Steve and the team also try and out-trivia each other with more brain-busting Factoids including why a dozen overweight people picketed a San Francisco gym and how long an iguana can stay underwater for. 

In the topical Talkie bits, the team discuss the rise of 'plebs' - people lacking essential basic skills - like wiring plugs, changing tyres or building flatpack furntiture and why people's joints are aging faster then they are.

Today's Oldies are chosen by Margot Hayhurst from Carnforth in Lancashire who chooses some of her favourite tunes of all time from artists including Tavares, REM and Chumbawumba.
