Hugh Cornwell talks about letting the audience choose the encore. And is music memorabilia a good investment? Plus why are musicians so bad at managing their money?

Former lead singer of The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell is back touring again. This time he's not just playing his solo material but some of the classics from The Stranglers, that he hasn't played since leaving the band. He joins The Music Café to talk about why he is reverting to playing old material when his solo career is successful and how a newer more intimate relationship with his fans is making each different show unique 

Why do we collect music memorabilia? The only European leg of a huge AC\DC exhibition is coming to Glasgow later in the year, but it begs the questions about whether collecting memorabilia is a personal thing or a sound investment. What lengths will people go to get a rare limited edition. There are two types of memorabilia fans, the collectors and the completists. One of each joins The Music Café to discuss their passion

Good financial management and musicians rarely go together, but a new website has been launched to help musicians get ahead with their financial planning, provide advice on tax returns made more complex by international touring and not drown in the piles of paperwork and receipts for each meal while they are on the road.
