Radio 1 tells the tale of one of 2010's biggest breakthrough artists, featuring an exclusive interview with Tinie himself.

The night before he heads to the 02 for his highly-tipped visit to the Brit Awards, Radio 1 celebrates the extraordinary career of Tinie Tempah to date. Written In The Stars: The Story Of Tinie Tempah sees Gemma Cairney dig a little deeper into the story of the man behind the breakout song of 2010; focusing on his childhood, his early attempts to make it in music, the making of 'Pass Out' and 'Disc-Overy' and how Tinie feels about his sudden fame and new-found role as an inspiration to kids around the country. The documentary includes exclusive interviews with Tinie himself, his cousin/manager Dumi, contemporaries Chipmunk and Labrinth, collaborator Ellie Goulding and industry experts Trevor Nelson and Gordon Smart. Radio 1 also speak to his fans and teachers and students from Tinie's former school in Greenwich, London to get the inside story on the musician behind the freshest sound around.
