To buy or not to buy a pair of marquisite earrings, that is the question.

Maggie has seen a pair of earrings she loves but is worried about the cost. The family all offer to help pay for them and Granda gives advice on choosing suitable earrings.

Maggie's desire for a pair of marquisite earrings sparks off a discussion during which Granda underlines the importance of choosing ones which suit the wearer. Finally, the family volunteers to help Maggie purchase the earrings. After much anxiety, Mrs McGoldrick's cat is found and there is great rejoicing.
