His father not only terrorised the black community, but also his own home, Leland remembers sleeping with one eye open, in fear of his dad's violent behaviour. Despite this, Leland reveals that he still loves the man who brought him up.

Paralympian Anne Wafula Strike tells Matthew how she has never let her disability hold her back. The Kenyan athlete was born with polio, which left her unable to walk, but her determination to succeed and to fight prejudice in her own community lead her to the Paralympics in Athens.
