At 1, Is it wrong to give money to beggars?

A major homeless charity says beggars shouldn't be given cash because they will spend it on drugs. So if you you've been generous and given a homeless person a couple of quid recently...have you wondered where that cash is really going? And are you fuelling a persons drug habit if you give them money?

Karen David, also known as Miss Montoya in Waterloo Road, has collaborated with Navin Kundra on their version of Silent Night. The song taken from her Christmas EP, is raising awareness for the homeless charity Shelter and she'll be in the studio talking about it.

Did the snow ruin your weekend? Britain has been gripped by the cold freeze and there was no let up on the weekend. We saw temperatures drop below zero and it is set to continue like this in to the new year,. So did you have to cancel your party? Were you stuck indoors even though you had Christmas shopping left to do? Or were you out building a snowman and loving every bit of it?
