Environment ministers gather in Mexico to try to form a replacement for Kyoto agreement.

A new deal may be made in Cancun to replace the Kyoto agreement, Ernst and Young show that IPO is up on last year and Microsoft warns of counterfeit products doing the rounds.

Environment ministers are gathering in Cancun in Mexico to thrash out a new deal to replace the Kyoto agreement which runs out in 2012. We speak to Leo Johnson, partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers' sustainability and climate change team about the risks and opportunities of sustainability. 

According to the Charities Advisory Trust some retailers contribute as little as just over 4 pence of the price of the cards they sell to the stated charity. Dame Hilary Blume, Director of the Charities Advisory Trust, talks to us about how the percentage given to charity is worked out, and who decides.

Fresh figures from the accountants Ernst and Young show that IPO, Initial Public Offerings, are significantly up on last year. Globally, nearly 130 per cent more capital was raised in the first eleven months of 2010, compared with the whole of 2009. David Wilkinson, UK IPO leader at Ernst and Young, talks about the reasons for this rise.   

Microsoft is warning people to be on their guard, particularly in the run up to Christmas, as illegal copies of its products like the Windows operating system, are doing the rounds. The programme hears from Michala Wardell, head of piracy at Microsoft about how consumers can know a product is not an illegal copy.
