Following the hullaballoo surrounding climate change talks in Copenhagen last year, Rajan Datar asks Steven Duke, editor of environmental programme One Planet, why the international media has been noticeably muted about last week’s summit in Cancun. 

We hear from dismayed listeners in Berlin who have been searching fruitlessly for the BBC World Service on its new frequency and Rajan puts the BBC’s Simon Kendall of the Business Development unit in the hotseat to discover the thinking behind the frequency change. 

Finally, we take a glimpse at what could well be the future of radio. Mark Rock, founder of the Audioboo website, joins Rajan in the studio to explain the service he has created which promises to act as a platform for anyone who wants to create and upload their own short radio clips, with nothing more than a mobile phone.
