Terry King is an ex-convict, an ex-conman with a chance to prove himself and find his feet again. 

His challenge is to bring life into a run down community centre with the support of Sandra Gaines, a social worker with a warm heart and an unhappy past. 

This is the story of how two people fall in love in spite of themselves.
