A half hour interview with interesting and prominent people from around the world with a great range of interests and opinions. Each week, one person is put under the spotlight by either Owen Bennett-Jones or Carrie Gracie, the two presenters on The Interview.  

They explore topical issues, personal motivation and interviewee's hopes and fears. The style is informal and conversational, but at times searching and combative when required.

Cliff Bleszinski designed the highly successful Gears of War video games

At the age of six Cliff Bleszinksi was hooked on video games, he went onto create the Gears of War series.

Cliff Bleszinski knew he wanted to be a video games designer from the age of six.  

Now he's one of the most successful in the world as the creator of the Gears of War series.  

He talks to Carrie Gracie on The Interview about why video games are so compelling and why he's confident the violence he puts in them isn't over the top.

He also discusses whether the video games industry will ever challenge Hollywood's hegenomy and how we'll be playing games in the future.
