The sprint kings and queens are decided in the 100m finals, with a formidable Caribbean challenge expected in both the men's and women's events. England sprinter Mark Lewis-Francis is vying to upset the odds and add to his European silver, while team-mate Laura Turner also has medal aspirations. 

Steve Cram, Paul Dickenson, Jonathan Edwards, Brendan Foster and Phil Jones commentate. John also has the key action from the archery team competitions, badminton, boxing and the gymnastics apparatus finals.
