Relive 1969 in the 'mystery year'. Established in this year for US military use only, was something that today is a big part of many people's everyday life, but what is it?

Roller Robbie's Riddle: Two twin brothers are always fighting. Dear old mum is so fed up with it, she gets them to stand on the same sheet of newspaper in such a way that they can just about see each other but cannot possiby touch each other. How is that possible?
		
On this day in 1938, a time capsule, containing a woman's hat, a man's pipe and 1,100 inches of microfilm, was buried in New York during the World's Fair.

The container was marked with the instructions 'Not to be opened until the year 6939'. Therefore our 'tenuous tunes' are songs linked to items you'd like to put in a time capsule.
