Can Ronnie force Sam away from the Square for good? A familiar face returns to Walford.

A desperate Ronnie uses all her wiles to force Sam away from the Square for good. Darren charms his way back into Jodie's affections, and a familiar face returns to Walford.

Jack’s excited, they’re going to meet Sam in the park to pick up baby Richard. Phil tries to change Sam’s mind, he’ll be there for her and the baby. Jack’s annoyed when Sam doesn’t turn up. Ronnie insists she’ll talk to Sam and won’t come home without the baby. Sam’s emotional, but still tells Ronnie to take the baby, Ronnie offers her £30,000 to start a new life with Richard somewhere far away. However, when Ronnie leaves her, Sam takes Richard and gives him to Jack.  Ronnie borrows money from Roxy.  Sam tells Ronnie she shouldn’t have tried to buy her. Ronnie shows Sam the cash, telling her to take the baby back and leave. Sam reclaims Richard, Jack’s devastated but Ronnie reminds him the cot won’t be empty for long. Heather waits for Minty in the Argee Bhajee. Back at the flat, Sam kisses Minty. 

Mo opens Charlie’s court summons for drink driving. She’s furious, he could lose his licence, who’s going to employ him? Patrick talks Charlie into another hair of the dog. Eventually Charlie returns home and apologises to Stacey for trying to force her to take her medication. The phone rings, it’s Kat and she needs Mo’s help. 

Jodie’s been ignoring Darren, angry he didn’t tell her about Vanessa and Max. Darren eventually persuades her to read a letter explaining that he’s been circumcised. Jodie’s thrilled and kisses him. 

Kim calls in sick and opens ‘Kimbo’s’, her new bar, at the Truemans’. Kim ropes Denise in to help. Denise quickly gets fed up with the mess, tells Roxy Kim’s skiving off work and closes the bar. 

Phil’s happy, Peggy’s signed over the Vic to him and he’s back in charge of the Arches. He thanks Shirley for everything she’s done.
