With a quarter-final place up for grabs, four aspiring chefs make blue cheese chicken, spaghetti carbonara and fried bananas for presenters Nadia Sawalha and John Torode.

After a scrummy masterclass in scotch pancakes from top chef John Torode, it's the four cooks' turn. Whose pancakes will stack up for presenters John and Nadia? With a quarter final place up for grabs, the competition gets fierce as they whip up their finest dishes. Will the blue cheese chicken, the spaghetti carbonara, or the fried bananas make the grade?
