On the way to drop Julian off at school, PC Selby tells Pat he is leaving Greendale to join the police in Pencaster. Disappointed, Pat and Julian plan a party to let the policeman know how much everyone loves him. Meanwhile, Dr Gilbertson's broken car, Amy's foot and general upheaval around the village keep PC Selby running around all day. Is that and the party enough to keep the Selbys in Greendale?
