Diaspora faces up to the challenge of Facebook

The new social network, Diaspora, takes on the power of Facebook, promising to allow users to decide what content finds its way to your employer and what to your intimate friends. 


Researchers in Switzerland have designed a project that aims to enable miniature robots to fly based on research gleaned from flies.  The project called the Cyborg Fly builds on flies aerodynamic abilities and use of instability.


Colin Grant visits a digital art display in southern England which includes a black cube that seems to be able to permanently auction itself on eBay.


Gareth Mitchell talks the team behind a  non-profit organization that aims to unite language teachers in the developing word with clients in the West offering lessons via Skype.
