When Gareth Lloyd was made redundant from his job in IT, his thoughts turned to New Zealand, where his skills are desperately needed. Wife Carol is keen too, but can they persuade 12-year old daughter Abigail to leave behind her friends and football team in Bedford? 

When 7- year- old Jamie starts taking sides with his big sister, the family are well and truly split on where their future lies. Can a week in Auckland persuade them all that they should emigrate?
