Psychological thriller about a millionaire who decides to take matters into his own hands when his son is kidnapped and a 2-million-dollar ransom demand is issued. The man, who built his fortune through a series of business gambles, realises that the criminals are unlikely to return his child, and uses the media to offer the money to whoever turns them in. The FBI, however, are against the idea.
