In this episode the action is centred around one of the science world's biggest mysteries - magnets. Two teams of budding young scientists test the power of magnetic attraction by attempting to attach a host of household objects - such as a metal colander, a pair of headphones and a stiletto-heeled shoe - to a giant magnet. 

Meanwhile, Normal Ken attempts to become a real-life superhero by building his own electromagnetic gloves in a bid to transform himself into Magnet Man. He doesn't have long to wait for his first assignment. When a magnetic photo of a cat becomes trapped at the top of a metal wall, he attempts to use his new invention to save it. But will Magnet Man be able to use the gloves to climb the wall and save the day?
