FORMER UGANDAN CHIDL SOLDIER BACK AT SCHOOL 
Juliet was 12 when she was abducted by the rebel Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda. She tells us how she survived six years of horror, and eventually escaped. Now Juliet is back at school, and campaigning for education for girls in northern Uganda. 

CREATIVE IN BERLIN
A hat made of plastic shot glasses? Sounds unlikely, but it's one of the creations of a new Berliner featured in our continuing series on the city's artistic community. Mimosa Pale, originally from Finland, makes a living creating hats and sculptures, and playing the musical saw.  

SUFFERING A BRAIN INFECTION 
What's it like to be seriously ill with no obvious cause? London journalist Tim Lusher was suddenly struck by a condition which left him seeing double, falling over and slurring his words. By the time it was diagnosed as an abscess on the brain, he needed emergency surgery. He tells  Matthew Bannister about his experience.
