An early morning mix of music and conversation, including the first Half-Time Hooter of The Week. This morning we are hearing odd tales of soccer superstition, including one man who won't let his wife cut his hair until his team are knocked out. There are more requests to un-invent things and further stories of predictive text horror. Also, you can find out who has been inducted into the 4.15 One-Off Canteen and, more importantly, why.
There is a new Jon Allen track and one from Brad Paisley from Lester's Library, and a lesser-known track from Boston from Listener's Library. Record of the Week by Amy MacDonald is featured, another track from Album of the Week by Scissor Sisters, plus Pause for Thought with Clare Catford at 3.20am. Let the buffoonery begin.
