Mary Ann focuses on Refugee Week with Faada Freddy and Rose Skelton on the release of a new compilation album Yes We Can - Songs About Leaving Africa.

Mary Ann presents the best of world music with a Scottish angle, this week focussing on Refugee Week. Journalist Rose Skelton talks about the release of a new compilation CD 'Yes We Can - Songs about leaving Africa', while Freddy Faada of Senegalese group Daara J Family who feature on the release, chats about the band's new School of Life CD.
And in hour two, Mary Ann chats with Kenny Murray, the Scottish director of the UKs largest free African Festival, Liverpool based Africa Oye.
