This week he's joined by Donald Kerr, head of commercial banking at Bank of Scotland, and Stephen Roper, Professor of Enterprise and Director of the Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises at Warwick Business School.

Following reports this week from Ernst and Young's Scottish ITEM Club and Bank of Scotland, we ask why so few SMEs are exporting, how much of that is down to the language barrier and whether banks are lending enough.
