A half hour interview with interesting and prominent people from around the world with a great range of interests and opinions. Each week, one person is put under the spotlight by either Owen Bennett-Jones or Carrie Gracie, the two presenters on The Interview.  

They explore topical issues, personal motivation and interviewee's hopes and fears. The style is informal and conversational, but at times searching and combative when required.

German sex-worker Stephanie Klee says prostitution should be a job like any other.

Prostitution is a job like any other says German sex-worker Stephanie Klee.  And for the last thirty years she has been a public figure, speaking out for the rights of prostitutes.

Stephanie Klee has been a sex-worker for the last thirty years. She runs a brothel, and founded a union for prostitutes in Germany.  She has worked to make prostitution a job like any other, with equal rights for all those involved in the industry.  She says she's only encountered a violent client once, and wishes she'd told her parents about her profession before they died.  She talks to Owen Bennett-Jones about her life, and the challenges she faces.
