Alex brings his own combination of music and conversation to early weekday mornings, making this The Best Time Of The Day Show. This morning, the thread Annie Get Your Nun starts, in which nuns are taking on crime. Alex is still searching for his drag queen name and plans for the Woman-Friendly pub are well underway.

From Lester's Library there is rock from Foghat and some classic jazz from Coleman Hawkins. The Lester's Library choice is a track from Ducks Deluxe. There is another track from Album of the Week from The Avett Brothers, Record of the Week from Renee Fleming, and Pause for Thought at 3.20am.
