Skeleton produced Britain's only medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics and it will be a big disappointment if one of the GB sliders does not finish on the podium in Vancouver. Both the men's and the women's competitions start, with British hopes resting on Turin silver medallist Shelley Rudman and her off-ice partner Kristan Bromley. Adam Pengilly and Amy Williams are also medal potentials in what could once again be Britain's most successful sport at the Games. Commentators: Paul Dickenson and Colin Bryce.

There's coverage of the conclusion of the men's figure skating competition. The free skate allows individual flair to come to the fore, so expect plenty of creative routines with some dazzling leaps and spins. Reigning champion Yevgeny Plushenko is the master of the quadruple jump, but the Russian is only just returning to the sport after an injury lay-off and his rivals are bound to have a few moves of their own with which to lay claim to gold. Commentators: Sue Barker and Robin Cousins.

In curling, the British women's team, led by 19-year-old skip Eve Muirhead, take on Russia. Muirhead was just 11 when Great Britain won gold in Salt Lake City, but she is being tipped to lead the current GB team to more glory in Vancouver. With commentary by Steve Cram and Rhona Martin.

There is live snowboarding coverage of the women's halfpipe final from Cypress Mountain. The last two Olympic champions, USA team-mates Kelly Clark and Hannah Teter, are strong contenders once again. Commentators: Ed Leigh and Stine Brun-Kjeldaas.

And in speed skating there is the final of the women's 1,000m. Commentators: Hugh Porter and Wilf O'Reilly.
