Graham Stewart discusses risks and opportunities with his guests: John Nicolson of risk assessors Marsh and David Watt of the Institute of Directors in Scotland.  What is risk and how do companies assess and manage it? And how can opportunities be spotted, capitalised upon and funded?

One man who knows all about risk and product management is entrepreneur Jim Reid, who founded Glasgow-based life sciences company Sistemic. He tells our business editor, Douglas Fraser, how recent job cuts at the global pharmaceutical firms can create chances for the minnows.
