The fourth series of International Radio 1 kicks off with Gilles Peterson heading to Cuba to check out the music scene.

It's 50 years since the Cuban revolution and Gilles Peterson is in the country's capital, Havana, to uncover the music scene in 2010.

In a country famous for cigars, old cars and even older jazz musicians, Gilles finds out about everything from Cuban Jazz to Reggaeton. 

We discover the unique charm of Havana along with the challenges some of the local music producers face.  

Plus you can hear what happens when Gilles heads to a Rumba party, goes crate digging and manages to blag a gig in Havana of his very own.
