A former cop and ex-colleague of Shawn's father belives he witnessed a murder. Being ill with Alzheimer's, he has forgotten the most important details: the crime, and who committed it. Shawn and Gus are called in to help him remember and solve the case, while everyone else believes the old man is nothing more than plain confused.
