A murderer is being bussed daily from Shotts prison to Edinburgh to study for an economics degree. Meanwhile, Scottish Opera is to perform in prisons to help inmates' self-confidence at a cost of £300,000 to the taxpayer.  An unfair reward, or the best way to rehabilitate offenders?

Plus: the Scottish Director of the Big Lottery Fund, Dharmendra Kanani, takes your calls.

The Fund takes 14 pence of every pound spent on a Lottery ticket.
