Ministers have held discussions with Jaguar Land Rover over the possibility of state assistance but, with Woolies staff losing their jobs in January and unemployment predicted to reach two million, is it right that the car maker is being singled-out?

MSPs at Holyrood are debating the current drink driving limits this morning. Do we need to get tougher on those who drive under the influence by increasing the penalties and introducing a lower limit?
