BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra under Ilan Volkov perform Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.

From City Halls, Glasgow. Petroc Trelawny presents the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra under Ilan Volkov in a performance of Stravinsky's revolutionary The Rite of Spring.

The concert concludes with Ilan Volkov conducting the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Stravinsky's revolutionary The Rite of Spring, which was written for Serge Diaghilev's Ballet Russes, with choreography by Nijinsky.

The concert will be available to watch online at bbc.co.uk/radio3  from the 12/12/08 for 7 days.
